Fall in Ottawa, Canada

Allready the leaves are golden, yellow with traces of green here. Many have fallen to the ground and leave a carpet of crunch as you walk. Some trees are half naked and look bewildered beside their full golden neighbors.

From warm sunsine to driving rain back to drizzle, the weather in Ottawa is unpredictable in October - a little jacket and rain unbrella never a bad idea to bring on your walks. The smells are lovely and damp with a touch of cinnamon. Turn the furnace on - the damp air is too cold for my Canadian but now California accustomed blood.
